In the second quarter, our goals are to continue bonding with the grade 9 students, establish some new goals for first semester success and encourage students to use all resources available for being successful at Foothill! We will also be introducing intervention groups during quarter 2.
Tuesday, November 14
SYNOPSIS
FIRE - No travel - advisory time
DETAILS
- Sit together in a common FIRE zone
- Strongly suggest near front white board
- Strongly suggest establishing common tables/desks together (not spread out)
- Put phones and ear buds/headphones away
- Take attendance
- Review calendar for November
- This week - regular schedules all week
- Next week - Monday is a 2,4,F,6 block schedule
- Next week - No school Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
- Brainstorm on white board as a group
- What went well for students in quarter 1? Successes?
- What was challenging for students in quarter 1? Areas to improve?
- How can students use their advisory time to better benefit their academics?
